![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There's a lot of the movie where the edges of the frame are just basically black, and there's nothing hiding in them it's just dark because there's not a lot of light in the shot. If you're not hooked by the character or story, though, it's a tough watch because it's so incredibly dark. It's beautiful too because it's really good at convincing you that you've see something much more disturbing than what was actually filmed. As far as the traditional scares go, I feel like it's a bit weak, but its story and psychological impact serves me well. I'm a sucker for supernatural and possession movies and I like Sinister a lot, which it seems like not a whole lot of other horror fans do. I love horror movies, it really depends on what you're into.
